THE TOOLS
CHANGED.
THE JOB DIDN’T.
I started with notebooks, marker pens and instinct – learning what makes people notice, feel and remember. That became a career in London, where I moved from designer to creative leader and eventually became an Executive Creative Director.
Across more than three decades, I’ve worked with over 400 brands – from Guinness and Halifax to Volvic, Ford, Renault, Jack Daniel’s, DFS and plenty of ambitious challengers most people had never heard of when we started.
The pattern has been consistent: the work that wins is rarely the work with the biggest budget. It is the work with the clearest decision, the strongest idea and the confidence to make it distinctive.
Today I bring the same judgement to brand, positioning, campaigns, creative direction and AI. Different tools. Same standard.
